Today is Ash Wednesday, a day of fasting and abstinence. While the definition of fasting isn't really in my personal dictionary, I do try to abstain from meat on Friday during the Lenten season and of course, on Ash Wednesday.
Coincidentally, today is also the eve of the lunar new year and this is something that we celebrate. Hence, the dilemna. To abstain ? Celebrate ?
I'm checking out the fridge to see what we have, hopefully, we can whip up a seafood menu for tonight that will satisfy both events.

i heard the church allowed the chinese to celebrate their new year even if its Lent; it's an exception this year! hehehe
